Sad Friends Club

We all need a place to be.

Workshops.

Sad Friends Social Club workshops are virtual gatherings for people who want more honest, creative, and emotionally meaningful ways to connect.

Each workshop is built around a theme - identity, grief, friendship, change, memory, tenderness, burnout, belonging, hope, rage, love, survival, or whatever else feels alive in the world and in us. Through guided writing, reflection, conversation, and low-pressure creative exercises, participants are invited to slow down, tell the truth, listen deeply, and feel a little less alone. Sometimes we simply craft together and chat about what’s going on in our worlds!

You do not have to be a “writer,” an artist, an extrovert, or someone who knows exactly what they want to say. You are welcome to participate fully, quietly, messily, thoughtfully, or however you arrive that day. Every workshop is designed to be warm, accessible, and gently structured, with room for vulnerability, humor, reflection, and genuine connection.

Come to write, listen, or simply remember that being human is not something you have to do by yourself.

A place to write, learn, make things, share things, laugh, cry, and feel. A place to be whoever you are, however you’re feeling.
